MARYVILLE, MO (2009-02-09) Using federal stimulus dollars in the Missouri budget is a risky proposition.

That from Northwest Missouri Senator Brad Lager.

He says depending on 8 hundred million dollars that may not be there doesn't make good fiscal sense as state lawmakers are putting together the state budget.

He's advocating a 2 budget approach.

Lager is proposing a separate plan where any federal money Missouri gets would apply to capital projects.
