MARYVILLE, MO (2009-02-27) Women will get their chance to be better prepared for an attack.
Starting tonight the Northwest Missouri State Campus Safety officers will be holding a class for women who wish to learn more about self-defense.
There will be four three-hour sessions starting at 6:30 tonight through Thursday.
Campus Safety Officer Kristina Martinez says the best defense is to try and get away.
Martinez adds although the classes are open to the public, they are geared more toward teenagers and older.
