Winter Weather Preparation

McKenna

Maryville, MO (2013-02-25)

Another winter storm is expected to make it's way through the region by this evening, adding to the already snow-covered conditions in the area.

Meteorologist for the National Weather Service Dan Hawblitzel says it is important to take precautions to remain safe during the potential storm.

Hawblitzel adds the snow will most likely begin this afternoon between 3 and 6pm and continue through the evening past midnight, when the heaviest snowfall will occur. He says the snow is expected to continue until 6 tomorrow morning when it will slowly begin to taper off. Hawblitzel says the region could receive from 2 to 5 inches of snow by tomorrow morning.
