St. Joseph Break-ins

A St Joseph man was arrested and charged for a series of break-ins that took place on February 13th.

Through investigation, 25-year-old Zachary W. C. Zahner was revealed as the suspect who, in the early morning hours, broke into four homes on the south side of St Joseph. Captain Matt Rock says residents were home at the time of each incident.

One resident was injured as a result of contact with the suspect. Zahner is facing charges through the Municipal court on two counts of trespassing, one count of property damage, and one count of assault related to the incidents. Two victims declined to press charges.
