Driving conditions on Missouri's roads and highways are improving this morning following yesterday's snowstorm that hit the region.

According to Missouri Department of Transportation Customer Relations Specialist Marcia Johnson, roads are still partially covered, meaning 50% or less of the road has snow or ice on the roads. Johnson says the storm presented some unique challenges for MoDOT's road crews.

MoDOT's full crew was on duty last night clearing the roads. Johnson says people who listened to their warnings and stayed off the roads, aided in their efforts.
