Livingston Arrest

An Independence Missouri man was arrested for driving while intoxicated and stabbing one of his passengers.

According to the Livingston County Sheriff's Office, 37-year-old Christopher Ryan Carpenter was driving over 100 miles-per-hour with a woman and child in his car on February 1st. Carpenter allegedly stabbed the female passenger in her thigh. Livingston County Sheriff Steve Cox says a Livingston deputy made the arrest.

Cox says Carpenter was transferred to Carrol County where they believe the stabbing took place. Carpenter may faces charges in Livingston County as well. The child was not physically harmed during the incident.
