Stanberry, MO (2013-02-07)
When two local high school basketball teams play tomorrow evening, they will be playing for more than bragging rights.
Albany and Stanberry high schools will play the Hall Bottom Shootout to raise money for cancer research. In addition to the game, Stanberry will be selling t-shirts, host a soup supper and a silent auction. All proceeds from tomorrow night's event will be donated to the American Cancer Society. Stanberry boys basketball coach Nick Groomer says he hopes the event raises four to five thousand dollars.
