Even after this week's precipitation, the drought of 2012 could still pose a risk for producers.
According to the University of Missouri Extension Office, our area needs much more rain to replenish the lost subsoil moisture from last year. Regional Agronomist Wayne Flanary says producers should have timely back-up plans in case dry conditions continue.
