Cameron Vehicle Accident

A Cameron resident was life flighted to St Luke's in North Kansas City on Saturday afternoon after a single-vehicle accident.

Around 4:15pm, 23 year old Ian Jezak was driving northbound on Route E-E when he traveled off the eastside of the highway. Jezak overcorrected and went off the westbound side of the highway, striking an embankment; causing the vehicle to overturn. Jezak was taken by ambulance to Cameron Hospital, then life-flighted to North Kansas City with serious injuries. Jezak was not wearing a seatbelt.
