Earlier this week the Northwest Missouri State football coaches signed 34 high school athletes to National Letters-of-Intent to play football at Northwest.
Bearcat head coach Adam Dorrel says he’s pleased with all of the signee's but says one area he's particularly happy with is the type of defensive linemen they are bringing into the program.
This year's recruiting class includes 21 players from Missouri, five from Iowa, three from Illinois and Nebraska and two from Kansas.
The Northwest Missouri State baseball team opens their season as they travel to Monticello, Arkansas for a weekend series with Arkansas-Monticello...the softball team also opens up this weekend with a doubleheader with St. Mary's in Leavenworth, Kansas Saturday and the Northwest Indoor Track and Field team competes in Seward, Nebraska at the Concordia Invitational.
Both Northwest Bearcat basketball teams look to get back on the winning track Saturday when they face nationally-ranked opponents in Washburn. The women's game will tip-off at five o'clock and the men at seven. We'll have the broadcast beginning at 4:40 with our pregame for the women from Topeka.
