A new dance for singles will take place this Friday.

The group, new beginnings, wants to provide a clean and safe environment for singles to meet. Event coordinator Debbie Saliger says the dance is a great way to meet new friends.

There is a small fee at the door and the dress is casual. The new beginnings singles dance starts this Friday at 8 in the evening running until midnight at the eagle's lodge in St. Joseph, that's 2004 North Belt Highway.
