The Savannah City Council chose not pursue a smoking ban at this weeks meeting.

The smoking ban was only a discussion topic and council members decided not to pursue it. The council also discussed a state sidewalk Grant City clerk Beth Kar says it will be cheaper to pay back the grant.

The next Savannah City Council Meeting will be Monday February 20th.
