A red dress is traveling throughout the week to help raise awareness.
Free people from tobacco is sponsoring the sisterhood of the traveling red dress. The Red Dress is a symbol of go red for women day on Friday from the American Heart Association. Women are encouraged to wear red on Friday to help raise awareness of women and heart disease. Outreach coordinator for the tobacco grant Judy Boye says the dress helps bring awareness around in a fun message that can be passed to others.
A mannequin wearing the red dress has traveled through Shenandoah at ladies apparel, Millennium Chiropractic and Hyvee. The dress will be on display at Shenandoah Hospital tomorrow and Nebraska Medical Clinic Friday.© Copyright, KXCV
