Plattsburg Water

PLATTSBURG, MO (2012-02-10)

The city of Plattsburg has been awarded a grant from the EPA for $364,000 to improve its drinking water.

Joe Trotter the city administrator of Plattsburg says they will use the grant not only for plant improvements but for plant expansion as well. Trotter also hopes to almost double the capacity at the water plant.

Trotter says the Plattsburg water plant upgrade are expected to be finished by 2014.
