A man is injured after his vehicle struck a utility pole yesterday in Nodaway county.

55 year old Arlin Milligan was eastbound on 290th Street just east of Route H yesterday morning when he traveled off the south side of the road. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, that's when the 1993 Chevrolet Blazer hit the pole, then came to a rest on the driver's side off the south side of the roadway. Arlin was not wearing a seatbelt and was moderately injured, taken by ambulance to St. Francis Hospital in Maryville.
