The Missouri Public Service Commission allows KCP&L to change the fuel adjustment charge for its electricity customers.

Electric bills for a typical residential customer in the company's L and P territory will increase by $3.29 a month. The charge increase comes after expiration of a Nebraska Public Power District contract last spring and coal conservation at the Iatan and lake road generating stations following river flooding.
