Judge Prokes Files for Re-election

4th District circuit judge Roger Prokes of Maryville has announced plans to file in March for re-election to his 3rd 6-year term.

Prokes practiced law in northwest Missouri for 24 years before being elected to his current position in 2000.He says his experience should be a benefit to the residents of the 4th judicial circuit.

Prokes is a member of the presiding judges executive committee and has served as a special judge on the Missouri Supreme Court during a vacancy. The 4th judicial circuit of Missouri include Atchison, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway and Worth counties.
