The environmental protection agency provides assistance to the city of St. Joseph.

The EPA will hold a one day workshop with St. Joseph officials to promote new methods of sustainability. City planner Dustin Smith says that often applies to environmental standards in new construction.

Smith says any code proposals made during the workshop will be sent to the city council for consideration, possibly later this summer.
