The brand new hospital in Clarinda is getting rave reviews.

That's according to Clarinda Regional Health Center spokesman Jason Bridie. The 28 and a half million dollar facility is just a few weeks old, and features increased medical technology, all digital radiology, a CT scanner with faster results, and energy efficiency construction. Bridie says they are already getting comments on how the new facility is carrying, through on it's patient-centered goal.

Clarinda regional officials say they leveraged the current soft-spot in the economy to build the hospital using revenue bonds acquired at great rates.
