The Chillicothe Police Department launches a seat belt enforcement effort today.

The "Click it or Ticket" mobilization will mean officers in the city are on extra lookout for drivers not buckling up. The enforcement effort is designed to cut down on injuries and deaths, as 70% of traffic fatalities in Missouri are not wearing seatbelts.
