MARYVILLE, MO (2010-2-5) -- Two agencies in North Missouri receive thousands of dollars to help low income residents weatherize their homes.
Community services incorporated will use more than $14,000 for the project. It helps residents in Andrew, Atchison, Buchanan, DeKalb, Gentry, Holt, Nodaway, and worth Counties. And more than $20,000 are on the way to Green Hills Community Action Agency for the same weatherization initiative. Green Hills serves Caldwell, Daviess, Grundy, Harrison, Linn, Livingston, Mercer, Putnam, and Sullivan Counties. The Home Weatherization program places an emphasis on helping the elderly, physically challenged, and families with children.
