ST. JOSEPH, MO. (2010-2-25) The St. Joseph area Chamber of Commerce's mission statement aims to create an environment that allows business to succeed and the St. Joseph metropolitan area to prosper.

According to the United States Chamber of Commerce, they are doing just that. The City was recently rated with a 5 star accrediation, which based on their sound policies, effective organizational procedures and positive impact on the community. The St. Joseph chamber has been accredited since 1969 primarily with 4 star accredidation. St. Joseph was one of 10 chamber's within the country to recieve the distinguished 5 star accredidation.
