Route Closing Delayed

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-2-17) The Missouri Department of Transportation has announced the closing of route PP in Nodaway County has been delayed until March 1st.

The Route was scheduled to be closed February 22nd for a bridge deck replacement project but has since been delayed due to inclement weather. The Route will be closed over Maupin Creek approximately one-half mile North of Missouri 46. The project will see the existing bridge deck removed and a new deck constructed. The Route is expected to be closed for 6 to 8 weeks, weather permitting. The project is part of the Safe and Sound Bridge Program, which will be imporving over 800 Missouri bridges by 2013.
