MARYVILLE, MO (2010-2-18) Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville has decided on the final 3 candidates to fill the vacant position of provost.

That position is the school's top academic administrator, responsible for overseeing curriculum, academics, and faculty at the University. The 3 finalists are Dr. Doug Dunham who currently serves as interim provost. Dr. Jonathan Lincoln holds a similar position as well as the dean for undergraduate education at Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania. And Dr. Paul Theobald is now serving as the interim associate provost and dean of the graduate school at Buffalo State College in New York. A series of public forums will take place on the Northwest Campus tomorrow, next week, and in early March with each candidate before one is chosen.
