Missouri Gas Energy Rate Increase

MISSOURI (2010-2-12) Missouri Gas Energy is raising rates.

State regulators gave the Western Missouri gas provider the green light to raise more than $16 million with the higher bills. Estimates are the average Missouri Gas Energy must also invest a million and a half dollars each year into new energy efficiency programs with the extra money raised. The rate increase is expected to take effect in mid-March.
