MARYVILLE, MO (2010-2-4) Education officials across Missouri are worried about budget cuts.

Missouri attorney general Chris Koster is even weighing in. He's comparing Missouri's education budget to a car speeding out of control. At an education summit this week discussing the financial crunch and other school district issues, Koster says education funding could fall short as much as $100 million by next year. Koster warns education reform might take a back seat to other issues looking for funding such as job creation.
