MISSOURI STATE (2010-2-5) With news Missouri has now returned to the number one State for methamphetamine production, lawmakers are taking action.
State representative Scott Lipke is sponsoring a bill that would require people to have a prescription for pseudoephedrine, the main methamphetamine ingredient. Lipke says it would help combat Missouri's problem. If Lipke's bill would pass, however, it would mean over-the-counter drugs like sudafed and claritin would require a prescription.
