IOWA STATE (2010-2-1) Iowa's governor is asking for a presidential disaster declaration for several of our Iowa listening Counties.

He's calling this winter's snow and ice ctorms "Historically Severe", estimating damages will cost 26 million dollars. The disaster declaration is being sought for 28 Western Iowa Counties, including Fremont, Page, and Mills Counties in Southwest Iowa.
