MARYVILLE, MO (2010-2-4) Former US congressman Harold Ford Jr. says the next several decades will shape up to be very challenging.
The democrat from Tennessee spoke last night in Maryville and is the chair of the democratic leadership council, which advocates its members move to the middle. Ford says with the threat of terrorism, a fragile stimulus expansion, and global turmoil he wants to speak to the next generation. Ford's appearance is part of Northwest Missouri State's Ploughoft distinguished lecture series.
