Electric Rates Drop

MARYVILLE, MO (2010-2-8) -- Some KCP&L electric customers will soon see their bills go down.

State regulators say lower fuel and purchased power costs by the company are being passed on to the residents. For the typical residential customer in KCP&L's St. Joseph/Northwest Missouri coverage area, bills will drop by just under $2 a month. Those new rates take effect on March 1st.
