Chillicothe, Mo. (2010-2-1) Chillicothe voters go to the polls tomorrow to approve the city's plan to build a new hospital.
The council wanted residents to have a final say on the project, which will partner with St. Luke's in Kansas City to create a $30 million facility with just $6 million from city coffers. Chillicothe city manager Dean Brookshire warns it will be more expensive to try and salvage the existing hospital rather than just starting from scratch. Polls are open from 7 to 7 tomorrow for the special hospital election in Chillicothe.
