Gallatin Grain Closed

MARYVILLE, MO (2009-02-20) The Gallatin Grain Company is closed and it's unknown when it will re-open.

That's the word from the owner's attorney.

Harold Caskey says the elevator north of Gallatin closed down because of financial matters and the Department of Agriculture is now reviewing the case.

He says the AG department will be sending out letters to any producers who stored their grain there but haven't yet been paid.
