MARYVILLE, MO (2009-02-04) Putting up license offices for bid continues… and now it's St. Joseph's turn.

The operations of the state license offices used to be appointed by the governor- the new bid system is designed to open it to anyone willing to show they can operate the office efficiently, securely, and in a customer-friendly way. Applicants will have 5 weeks to submit a bid to run the St. Joseph location…which is estimated to conduct about 134 thousand transactions through the end of June.
