MARYVILLE, MO (2009-02-04) Work continues on a long-term project to build two new water towers in Maryville.
The project has been ongoing since 2007, and the city hopes to build new water towers to increase the amount of water being stored. City manager Matt LeCurf says although an engineering firm has been chosen to design the structures, it's unknown when construction companies will be free to build them. When the towers are completed an extra 2 and a half million gallons of water will be stored for Maryville's residents.
