MARYVILLE, MO (2009-02-06) A counterfeit scheme is apparently happening in Maryville.

Public safety is warning businesses fake 20 dollar bills are being circulated… and they have a suspect description. Police are looking for a white male, around 50 years old with short gray hair and goatee, gray jacket and dark pants. They say he might be accompanied by a younger man or 2 females as well. The suspects are driving a 1987 red fiero. You're asked to contact Maryville Public Safety if you see any of these descriptions.
