HOPKINS, MO (2008-12-09) A habitual alcohol offender from hopkins is sentenced to 20 years in state prison.
This was his 8th alcohol-related traffic violation.
Forty-two year old Randy Koch was found guilty by a jury of DWI.
He could have received 30 years…. His attorney argued for a sentence of 10 years.
After hearing both sides and weighing the fact a prison term will keep him off the streets, the judge sentenced him to the 20 years.
