Poinsetta Poison

MARYVILLE, MO (2009-12-29) Poinsettas are a popular holiday decoration, but another added stress for some owners.... watching to make sure children or pets don't get into the poisonous plants.

But a Missouri researcher says as it turns out: research proves poinsettia's aren't poison at all!

Missouri Horticulturist David Trinklein (trink-line) says the myth their poison is just not true.

The poinsettia represents 85 percent of the potted plants that are purchased during the holiday season.
