St. Joseph, MO (2009-12-18) It's an all-out musical celebration tomorrow in St. Joseph as the Symphony is promising the most merry Yuletide Pops concert ever.
A variety of holiday favorites will be performed- from the Nutcracker Overture to "Sleigh Ride" to vocalists performing standards from Mozart and Shubert's "Ave Maria".
St. Joseph Symphony conductor and music director Ricco (reek-oh) Mcneela says besides the seasonal spirit, it's a fantastic introduction to the world of classical music.
The St. Joseph Symphony's Yuletide Pops concerts starts at
7 o-clock tomorrow night, which is earlier than normal so that families can bring along children and grandchildren.
It will be at the Missouri Theater in downtown St. Joseph.
