MARYVILLE, MO (2008-12-03) This weekend starts a series of events in our region celebrating Christmas time and the holiday season.

One of those is this Saturday at the Nodaway County Historical Society Museum in Maryville.

A holiday brunch is being offered, starting at 10:30.

Museum director Tom Carneal says it's the kick-off to the holiday's for the Historical Society… and a chance to get into the spirit of the season.

Reservations are required by this Friday for Saturday's holiday brunch.
