CARROLLTON, MO (2008-12-01) Carroll county's american energy producers have big expansion plans in the works.
It's applied to the Missouri DNR for a permit to build a new 60 million gallon per year biodiesel production facility, complete with a hundred thousand bushel per day soybean processing plant and associated equipment to extract oil from the beans.
A public hearing will be held in Carrollton on the required air permit.
It will be held on Monday, December 22nd at 6-30 in the evening at the area career center in Carrolton.
However, citizens speaking for or against the expansion must pre-register with the DNR by December 19th in order to be heard.
