MARYVILLE, MO (2008-12-05) Nearly 12 and a half million dollars. That's the funding package that's landed for the high-tech processing company coming to maryville.
CMC is building a facility that will turn shredded tires back into 3 recyclable materials, including oil.
Now…. CMC has secured 12-point-4 million in state and federal grants through Missouri's new markets development program.
The company says as a start-up… it's thrilled to get this level of capital.
The money will go toward building the new plant- located on Maryville's east side- which will process more than 15 thousand tons of used tires each year.
It will also create 21 permanent jobs with salaries above the Nodaway county average.
The plant is expected to be operational next year.
