The United States Department of Education has recognized Northwest Missouri State University's Student Employment program as one of the best in the country..

Northwest's Student Employment and Career Pathing programs are now highlighted by the Department of Education as one of the "Promising and Practical Strategies to Increase Postsecondary Success." Northwest Missouri State President Dr. John Jasinski says the Department of Education survey identifies Universities with programs to help students become successful.

Dr. Jasinski adds Student Employment at Northwest offers many students real experience in the field they're pursuing.The U-S Department of Education's index identifies 70 different Universities nationwide with successful programs. Northwest is the only institution statewide to receive recognition.
