Step Up to Leadership

The Community Action Partnership of Greater St. Joseph, along with the Midland Empire Resources for Independent Living program has begun accepting applications for the February 2013 "Step Up to Leadership" program.

The program intends to teach through hands-on learning how to be community minded and how to make a difference around you. Chief Brand Officer of MERIL, Deb Powers, says the program is beneficial for many types of people.

Powers adds the program is an excellent way to learn how to accept responsibility and use it in their everyday life.
