The University of Missouri Extension offers informative workshops to assist those nearing Social Security retirement.
The "Strategies for Maximizing Benefits" workshops will be held at two different locations on December 19th and 20th. The workshops provide information needed to assist retirees in maximizing retirement benefits. Family Financial Education Specialist Rebecca Travnichek says it is important to keep up to date on changes with retirement benefits.
The 2-hour workshop will begin at 6:30pm on Wednesday, December 19th at the Hundley Whaley Discover Center at 1109 Birch Street in Albany. The second workshop will begin at 2pm on Thursday, December 20, at the Rolling Hills Library at 514 West Main in Savannah. To register for one of the workshops, contact the Andrew County University of Missouri Extension at 816-324-3147.© Copyright, KXCV
