MARYVILLE, MO (2012-12-04)
A senior-level advertising class at Northwest Missouri State University has been working on a re-branding campaign for Mozingo Lake...a recreational area just east of Maryville.
The Advanced Advertising Strategies class will present their final proposals on how to increase tourism at Mozingo Lake in a public meeting tomorrow afternoon from 3 until 5:30 in the conference room of the Maryville Community Center. The class, this semester, conducted an extensive survey of Maryville residents and people who have used the Mozingo Lake facilities in researching their project.. Mass Communications Instructor...Jacquie Lamer...says her class will present several promotional concepts for Maryville city officials to consider.
The Maryville City Council and the Mozingo Advisory Board will be in attendance at tomorrow's meeting. Lamer says the meeting is also open to the public. Again, the meeting will be held from 3 to 5:30 tomorrow afternoon at the Maryville Community Center conference room.
