Bearcat men's basketball team improved to 6-0

The Northwest Missouri State Bearcat men's basketball team improved to 6-0 Saturday afternoon with an 80-69 non-conference win over York College.

The Bearcats built a 13 point lead midday through the first half and were able to hold off the Panthers in the second half. Bearcat men's head coach Ben McCollum says he was happy with the win but would have liked to have seen his team put York away in the second half.

The Bearcats open up MIAA play Wednesday night when they host Lindenwood in a 7:30 tip-off.
