St. Joseph Gift Giveaway

The St. Joseph community services has begun its gift room giveaway.

Open this week, it's a chance for singles or families who may not otherwise qualify for assistance to make sure their loved ones have a merry Christmas by picking up clothing, toys, and other gifts. Penny Adams is executive director and says nearly 400 families still need help because of the recession.

The community services building is located at 1203 North 6th Street in St. Joseph.
