MARYVILLE, MO (2011-12-26)
The bulk of deer season is over, but that doesn't mean Midwest corner drivers are out of the woods.
Deer continue traveling in herds throughout our region, searching for food as the temperatures drop. Bill Graham is a spokesman for the Missouri Department of Conservation and says besides keeping alert, there's one thing more than anything else that can help drivers avoid a crash.
Graham adds the old rule of thumb still holds true: If you see one deer, there are probably more behind it.© Copyright, KXCV
