Two busts at alleged meth labs and more could be on the way in Livingston county.
Last night about 8 the Sheriff's Office there raided two locations, one in Chillicothe and one in rural southern Livingston county. Sheriff Steve Cox was unavailable for comment until next week, but a press release from the department says officers seized drug-making materials, drug paraphernalia, a loaded gun, and other evidence. One of the meth labs targeted was destroyed by fire just hours before the raid. The nitro police all helped in the raids. The division of family services was also called in at one of the locations after a child was found there. No arrests after a child was found there. No arrests as of this afternoon, but the Sheriff's Department says it's filing arrest warrants and following up on more leads regarding the meth investigation.
