Two St. Joseph area businesses are getting nearly a million dollars in loans through the state's linked deposit program.
Deluxe Truck Stop with two locations is getting more than $885,000 to refinance debt from a recent remodel. Nearly 50,000 is going to Lura Landis Photography to purchase new equipment for the professional studio. Both are low-interest loans through the state, and are expected to impact 23 employees. officials estimate by going through the state the businesses will save more than $63,000 because of the low-interest the linked deposit program through the state treasurer's office provides.
